It was a pleasure to see the local Rahway Fire Department at the Covanta Union today. Ten firefighters toured the facility, including the tipping floor, boiler room, baghouse areas, ash residue building, crane charging decks and more.
The Fire Department also reviewed fire response protocols, confined space rescue, refuse pit rescue drills, and expressed positive feedback to the facility.
