Covanta had a great day volunteering at The Mary Brennan Inn Soup Kitchen in Hempstead, NY. As the largest soup kitchen on Long Island, the Inn serves around 400 guests five days a week, most days of the year. The team from Covanta put in a very full day as they helped prepare and serve the breakfast and lunchtime meals. Everyone all left feeling exhausted but exhilarated for the small contribution we made to the great work being done for those less fortunate.
A special acknowledgement to Gene and his team for their unwavering dedication to providing nourishment and support to the underprivileged individuals in Long Island with immense care and compassion.
