Covanta Kitchener & Food4Kids

The Kitchener MPF (Kitchener, ON) hosted a community barbecue to thank neighbors for their patience during the facility’s extensive expansion project. Guests were treated to food and activities and were able to drop off household hazardous waste materials.

 

The event benefited local non-profit group Food4Kids, with guests making food donations and purchasing raffle tickets. The facility collected 300 pounds of food and $1,900 which will support the organization’s mission to provide nutritious meals to children in need.
