Covanta Field Services Technician Adopts a Neighbor

An employee of the East Taunton MPF (East Taunton, MA) was recently featured in a feel-good story in newspapers and on national television. The family of Wilson Caraballo, a field services technician at the former Global Remediation site, received recognition for “adopting” a neighbor.
This operation will greatly improve processing for materials bound for Waste-to-Energy facilities or landfills, or wastewater targeted for liquid direct injection. Additionally, it will increase the types of materials the site can handle from our growing client base. Safety will be improved while throughput will be almost doubled.
The grand opening was well attended by local agencies and clients as well as the Midwest leadership team. This project was a real team effort driven by Pat Wheaton, manager for Covanta Special Projects.
