The Covanta Hempstead facility made a last-minute donation to help the Faith Mission Food Pantry, located in nearby Mineola, NY. Employees were able to fulfill the urgent request when the pantry came up short of the community’s needs and donated 100 turkeys for a holiday meal distribution.
