Covanta’s Long Island facilities (Covanta Babylon, Covanta Hempstead, Covanta Huntington and Covanta MacArthur) proudly continued their sponsorship of the Wreaths Across America program. This effort coordinates holiday wreath-laying ceremonies at veterans’ cemeteries, including Calverton and Long Island National on Long Island. The facilities also handle the post-holiday disposal of wreaths from all the local cemeteries as part of their ongoing commitment to Long Island veterans.
