Covanta Kent hosted an Earth Day plant tour for the Grand River Prep High School AP Environmental Science class. Operations Manager Brian Copeland spoke with the students about Waste-to-Energy and Safety Program Manager Matt Seguin conducted the tour.

Covanta Kent teamed up with a local dentist for a “winter outerwear clothing drive” to support the YWCA West Central Michigan domestic violence emergency shelter (Project HEAL). The group provides transitional supportive housing for local women and children.

Covanta Kent facility hosted a tour for a group of about two dozen seventh through ninth-grade students. The students are part of the cognitively impaired program at Wyoming Junior High School in Wyoming, MI.
