Beach Cleanup for Earth Day
Covanta Honolulu celebrated Earth Day by working with the Coast Guard and a local non-profit, Protectors of Paradise, to clean up trash along the beach and roads in Oahu. In less than 4 hours, roughly 60 volunteers collected 6.2 tons of trash and 2.7 tons of metal from the area.
