Haverhill’s Star Shines Bright Again this Holiday Season
An illuminated star at the top of Covanta Haverhill’s stack became a traditional holiday symbol in that northeastern Massachusetts city. And over the course of nearly three decades, the star has also come to represent the facility’s steadfast commitment to its community.
Haverhill Helping to Make Online Learning a Little Easier
Covanta Haverhill provided 100 sets of noise-reduction headphones to help 175 Haverhill students with online learning. The donation was made in partnership YMCA of the North Shore through its ‘Learning Pods’ program.
Cleaning up the Merrimack River
Covanta Haverhill is supporting the Clean River Project by generously donating a boat to assist in efforts to remove litter from the Merrimack River. The boat, dubbed the "Covanta Boat", is made of heavy duty aluminum and will be an integral part of the project. Read more about the project here.
