Covanta Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA) employees participated in the National Night Out celebration in Steelton Borough, a community located just a short distance from the facility. The employees provided coloring books and other items to enthusiastic attendees throughout the evening.

Covanta Harrisburg established a partnership with the Steelton-Highspire School District, in which the collaboration generated a scholarship fund for graduating seniors. The facility also provided winter coats for students of various ages throughout the school district.
