Thanks to the efforts of Covanta Camden employees, Wholesome Riches and the mission team from Dayspring Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama students at H.B Wilson School learned how to plant and tend to their new garden.
Covanta Camden had the pleasure of hosting a tour for the Women in Natural Sciences (WINS) group. The students had an amazing time touring the facility and learning about the waste-to-energy process.
Covanta Camden Hosts Urban Trekkers
Covanta Camden hosted students from the Camden Urban Trekkers program and gave them a tour so they could see firsthand how the facility turns trash into energy that is then fed back into homes and businesses. After the tour, the students enjoyed a BBQ with members of the facility.
Camden Participates in Police Pride Walk
