H.B. Ward Technical Center Students Tour Covanta Hemsptead

Students from H.B. Ward Technical Center, a career and technical education high school in Riverhead, NY, toured the Covanta Hempstead facility. More than 20 students, who are studying to work as electricians or in alternative energy, were fascinated to visit and see how electricity is generated and sent to the grid.
