Covanta Alexandria hosted local Girl Scout Troop 60085 for an educational session on the waste hierarchy and how to recycle properly. The 4th graders were also given a facility tour led by Facility Manager Lucas Dushac and Plant Engineer Carina Gwennap.
The Girl Scouts has programs from coast to coast and globally for American girls living abroad. The organization consists of girls from all backgrounds, where they can be themselves and discover their strengths and abilities to meet new challenges at any stage of life.
