The Covanta Fairfax team held a road clean-up on Earth Day, where a group of 16 volunteers picked up trash and debris along Furnace and Mordor Roads. In addition to the collection of trash along the roadside, illegally dumped debris was found near the parking area near the Laurel Hill Mountain Bike trails and Covanta along with assistance from Fairfax County Solid Waste was able to remove the debris. Overall Covanta picked up over 2,000 pounds of trash and debris!
