Covanta Delaware Valley organized a community clean up event in Chester, Pennsylvania to remove trash and debris in the area adjacent to the facility.
A group of nearly 20 Covanta employees cleaned all along nearby Highland Avenue, paying particular attention to the end of the street near the railroad tracks where an extensive amount of trash was visible in the shrubbery. In total, the group collected 8 trash-bags full of scattered waste and debris. As you can see from the images below, the clean up significantly improved the overall appearance of the area.
