Covanta Delaware Valley recently partnered with the City of Chester and Making A Change Group to help clean up illegal dumping in the city. The team worked to remove a large pile of illegally dumped debris near the Edgemont Park Apartments. The debris were accepted by Covanta free of charge and processed to produce energy.
“Hopefully we can help find a solution to some of this illegal dumping,” said Don Cammarata, business manager for Covanta Delaware Valley, who volunteered with six other team members from the facility. “We want to help out the community. We’re neighbors.”
