Covanta Hempstead hosted representatives from the Long Island Children’s Museum for a tour. Located only blocks from the facility, this state-of-the-art museum offers interactive science exhibits and workshops designed specifically for children in their most formative years. Covanta Hempstead will collaborate with the museum on STEM-related workshops that will include information about Waste-to-Energy.
