Project Medicine Drop

Covanta’s New Jersey facilities continue to partner with the New Jersey Department of Consumer Affairs and their program, “Project Medicine Drop.” Project Medicine Drop provides secure drop boxes at police departments across the state to allow citizens to dispose of prescription drugs anonymously, no questions asked, any time of day. Covanta destroys the dropped-off medications from across New Jersey at no cost to taxpayers or to the participating police departments.
