Morristown, N.J. – Covanta Holding Corporation (NYSE: CVA) ("Covanta" or the "Company"), a world leader in sustainable waste and energy solutions, reported financial results today for the three and six months ended June 30, 2017.
• Reaffirming 2017 guidance

"Our second quarter results highlight strong underlying operating performance, continued improvement in waste markets and our ability to drive incremental value through our Covanta Environmental Solutions platform," said Stephen J. "Resumption of waste processing at Fairfax is now expected in the fourth quarter, but we expect insurance recoveries to continue to mitigate the cost of the downtime.
