The Early Career Development Program is designed for recent college graduates with less than three years of relevant work experience. Participants will gain valuable knowledge and skills, make meaningful contributions and have an opportunity to determine the career path that’s right for them. The program offers candidates world-class experience and training through rotational assignments across the company.

About the Program

The program runs for three years, during which participants have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions and gain valuable skills and experience, as well as receive wide exposure to Covanta’s diverse business functions. This will be accomplished through a coordinated rotation among a variety of assignments across various departments. Participants will be hired with a “primary” department in mind and will spend most of their rotations within that department.

At the end of the program, participants will be placed in a role based on their skill set, performance, organizational need and their career aspirations.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates will need to have the following prior to joining the program:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Up to three years of relevant experience
